I was leading a training session on SharePoint a few years ago, and while I was covering list templates, one of the participants in the class blurted out, “Oh! An Issues list? We should use that.  We have issues!!!”  Don’t we all?  Still makes me smile when I think about it.

Welcome to part 2 of the series, ‘Granular Licensing of Office 365 SKUs’. In Part 1 of this series, I discussed how to perform granular licensing of Office 365 SKUs via the Office 365 Admin Portal. SharePoint Online has an almost infinite and unlimited number of use cases and solutions. After all, it’s a highly extensible platform that can be customized to fit any business need. With little to no customization or development, it is a highly effective and useful solution even if used “out-of-the-box.”

Hello fellow SCOM’ers. Today, we wanted to share with you all an easy way to script maintenance mode in SCOM 2012. If you don’t want to manually run this, you can run it as a scheduled task. We like to manage this manually by running the script ourselves, but to each their own. Happy scripting!

With the release of Microsoft's Granular Licensing of Office 365 Enterprise E5, a significantly large amount of new services is available to offer your clients. Whether your business is already using Office 365 and simply upgrading another license SKU to E5, or is migrating to Office 365 for the first time, oftentimes simply applying all of the available options for the businesses client base is ok. In other scenarios, a more systematic and staged approach is required.
