Numerous studies show that organizations are rapidly adopting a hybrid cloud model. According to the Rightscale 2016 State of the Cloud Report, 82 percent of enterprises have a hybrid cloud strategy, and 71 percent have adopted a hybrid cloud. A 2015 Forrester Consulting survey of large multinational organizations found that 58 percent were already using some type of hybrid cloud.

With the release of Microsoft's Granular Licensing of Office 365 Enterprise E5, a significantly large amount of new services is available to offer your clients. Whether your business is already using Office 365 and simply upgrading another license SKU to E5, or is migrating to Office 365 for the first time, oftentimes simply applying all of the available options for the businesses client base is ok. In other scenarios, a more systematic and staged approach is required.

Azure is Microsoft’s cloud computing platform, providing a variety of service that can be used without purchasing or provisioning hardware. Azure enables the rapid development of solutions and provides the resources to accomplish tasks that may not be feasible in an on-premise environment. Azure’s compute, storage, network and application services can also be used in a hybrid configuration, connecting on-premise infrastructure with the Microsoft Cloud.
